C8 CHAIRMAN CLOTHED AS LIVERYMAN IN LONDON CEREMONY.

C8 Chairman Dominic McGonigal has been clothed as a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Musicians. At a ceremony at the Ironmongers’ Hall, the Master of the Worshipful Company of Musicians, Andrew Morris, welcomed Dominic as a Liveryman, with a presentation of the Company’s medal and the Liveryman gown. Dominic has also been granted the Freedom of the City of London and the right to conduct his trade within the City.

Dominic is welcomed as a Liveryman ceremony.

Dominic McGonigal is welcomed in this special occasion.

The Worshipful Company of Musicians has an illustrious past, going back to the Middle Ages. It was formed in 1500 and given the right to regulate musicians in the City of London. Now it is a major charitable organisation, sponsoring young musicians and financing education work.

After being clothed, Dominic said, “This is a great honour, following in the footsteps of illustrious musicians through the centuries. I hope to be able to use my experience of the digital commercial world to further the charitable work of the Company".
