Angela Newton has over 18 years’ experience in content and brand development across the publishing sector. She is highly experienced in developing new products, brands and commercial channels, as well as repositioning and overhauling legacy brands to meet changing market needs.
Having worked across both commercial and charity sectors, Angela is familiar with developing robust propositions with tight budgets and complex business requirements. Commercially focused, she provides entrepreneurial thinking to large and small operations, helping businesses to understand the customer need, their brand and market positioning, and growth opportunities.
She has worked across print and digital markets, developing free content, PAYG and subscription models, including apps, downloads, books and magazines. She has launched numerous consumer-facing websites, developed multi-channel revenue streams and managed strategy, commissioning, marketing, sales and distribution across a number of markets including B2B, B2C, retail and subscriber acquisition and retention. In addition to providing business analysis and planning, Angela also has extensive experience in helping to deliver change through organisational design.
She can help businesses review their structures and processes to ensure they can meet changing commercial needs, and provide support in identifying process and cost opportunities. She leads and facilitates workshops, and has led numerous steering groups on change implementation.
